Farewell Peter!

Tuesday, July 2, 2019

Over the past few months the staff and friends of the Ottawa Arts Council, along with our city's artists, arts organizations and community partners, have been preparing for a fundamental change in Council leadership.

After close to 30 years at the helm of the Ottawa Arts Council, Executive Director Peter Honeywell has officially retired. It goes without saying that Peter has left an indelible mark on the cultural fabric of this city, spending the last three decades championing Ottawa arts, and the essential role it plays in vitalizing and engaging our communities.
