Knot Projections 2019: Imagining Publics wraps up this November with public projections featuring two atmospheric and environmentally-focused video works by Ottawa-based artists Maayke Schurer and Sasha Phipps. Occupying the south-facing facade of the University of Ottawa STEM complex, these large-scale projections will be visible on Saturdays and Sundays, on alternating nights, from various points along Colonel By Drive, the Rideau Canal, Nicholas Street and the uOttawa campus. The Future is Up and Tranquil Traffic are the final projections presented as part of Knot Projections 2019: Imagining Publics, SAW Video's extended public projection series, supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, which launched in July of this year and has also featured projections by local artists Hélène Lefebvre, Ryan Conrad, and Pansee Atta.
