….Anne-Marie Brugger is an Ottawa-based local arts reporter, radio broadcaster and public speaker. A seasoned strategic communications professional, she has been part of Ottawa’s music landscape for over 20 years. From 2003 to 2019, Anne-Marie produced and hosted a weekly radio program on CHUO 89.1FM. She can also be heard on CKCU 93.1 FM and contributes to Ottawa Life Magazine. She has covered Juno Awards and interviewed the likes of Carole Pope, Orville Peck, and Our Lady Peace to name a few. She has long supported emerging Canadian bands while tirelessly contributing to her community in various capacities such as serving as Director of several boards including the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition, CHUO, the Ottawa Folk Festival, and more recently, the Ottawa Arts Council. ..Anne-Marie Brugger est une reportrice des affaires culturelles locale, un radiodiffuseur et une oratrice basée à Ottawa. She recently had the opportunity to take part in the 2021 cohort for emerging filmmakers in Being Black in Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Rights & African Studies from Carleton University. She is passionate about supporting Ottawa creatives find opportunities within the city.
